Love this show
But where are the boards of this? I have never, ever, heard a board of this show. I know of several '86 shows which have crispy mixes (take the Frost run, for example). Hampton's tinny sound interferes with this masterpiece of a show. (Gosh it was fun.) I would like to hear a crispy DAT board to drink in the nuance. Alas . . .

vg rec pg show
The beginning of set 2 is a mess (Honestly the UJB is NOT good) and there are vocal lapses all night, but there's enough desire and juice and hot stretches to make this well-worth hearing, and, agreed, the Stella Blue is excellent.

I've had a first gen cassette of this forever... same microphones, different deck: the 2 tapers were friends. The show totally rocks, and this is one of the best audience recordings you will ever hear.

86 has to be one of the most unlistened to of all the years. Been a while since I have perused shows this year in any depth.
